This installation works in automatic mode and does not require the constant presence of personnel. The automatic control system controls the water level in the boiler, the pressure.

The PGM-0.2 mobile steam generator is made in the form of a thermally insulated container equipped with tanks for feed water and diesel fuel. The volume of the tanks is designed for continuous operation of the steam generator for 3-4 hours without refueling. Before starting work, it is necessary to fill the water and fuel tanks and connect the unit to the power grid. For work in the field, as additional equipment, electric generators with a capacity of at least 2 kW can be used.
